A good first quarter: dynamic growth in Services and record level for Software

The Services division (92.6% of turnover) continued to display dynamic growth. The activity was marked by the opening of new service desks and AM centres dedicated to the Group’s customers in the Insurance, Pensions and Banking sectors, and the winning of new accounts in Aeronautics, Space, and Power and Distribution sectors. Infotel also continues to develop its geographical network with the opening of a new agency in north France, whose mission is to target a strong portfolio of potential customers. Infotel Business Consulting (IBC), Infotel‘s new subsidiary specialised in IT project management, is under way and will contribute to the Group’s activity from 2011 thanks to a complementary offering of project management services provided by Infotel.

The Software division (7.4% of turnover) registered strong growth in activity thanks to a return in IBM sales at the end of the year, generating a record level of royalties. The deployment of the Merge Backup software will enable the Group to strengthen its partnership with IBM in the coming months. The Group also started a strategy designed to develop growth vectors through the commercialisation of new software. As part of this strategy, the sales and technical activity of the software Infoscope (Computer-Aided Testing) and the archiving and dematerialisation platform Arcsys continue to be intense (participation in the French Software Testing Seminar, sales prospecting in France and abroad…) Overall, the turnover for the period was € 2.2 M, increasing 28.8% compared to the first quarter of 2010.

Forecast: Confirmation of favorable annual forecast

To accompany its development in 2011, Infotel has decided to implement a recruitment plan for 320 new employees. In the first quarter, 66 hires were made and 4 training sessions for graduate IT technicians were organised.

The Group confirms for 2011 its target for a turnover of € 120 M (excluding external growth) associated with a rise in profitability.

The payment of a dividend of €2.50 per share for 2010 will be submitted to vote at the Shareholders’ Meeting on 25 May 2011.
