Solid recovery in activity in the 2nd quarter of 2021

Infotel recorded strong growth in the second quarter of 2021 of +23.1% to €64.6 million, after a first quarter down -2.2%. For the full half, revenue amounted to €129.1 million, up +9.0% compared to the first half of 2020. This performance represents growth of +5.5% compared to 2019 , above the target of recording activity comparable to that of 2019.

The Services business posted solid growth of +24.3% in the 2nd quarter of 2021, to €62.9 million, after a 1st quarter down slightly by -1.7%. Cumulatively over the half-year, the activity posted growth of +9.9% to €125.5 million.

Services recorded the benefits of a very sustained commercial dynamic.

The Banking/Finance sector notably posted the win of new contracts with Banque de France, BNP Paribas and the ramping up of activity within Crédit Agricole. At the end of June 2021, it represents a contribution of 40.8% to Services revenue, compared to 39.8% for a comparable period in 2020.

The Industry sector totals 22.7% of Services activity with stable activity at Airbus.

With a slight increase in contribution to 19.2%, Services / Transport also included a strong recovery of Air France over the period. Insurance / Retirement increased to 14.1%, compared to 13.6% in 2020. The Administration sector stabilized at 3.1%.

The deployment of the C3D2 offer, for the management of “shadow IT” is materializing on the national level, confirming the relevance of its positioning among key accounts.

With 202 gross recruitments over the period (compared to 143 last year), the total workforce was 2,669 people at the end of June 2021. The still low inter-contract rate is 2.5% on average over the half-year.

The Software activity recorded revenue of €1.7 million in the 2nd quarter compared to €1.9 million for a comparable period in 2020, with an amount of IBM royalties of €0.83 million.

Cumulatively over the half-year, revenue amounted to €3.6 million, including €1.9 million in royalties from IBM.

In a context of early recovery in the aviation sector, the Orlando software suite for technical aircraft documentation has won new signatures with Republic Airways, Air France, FlyaDeal, Emerald, Fiji Airways and Binter. She has a very large reservoir of growth to come.

Growth exceeding objectives

The performance achieved during the first half of 2021 confirms the return to growth with a level of activity now expected for 2021 higher than that recorded in 2019.
