Continued good level of growth over 9 months
In the third quarter of 2017, Infotel recorded an increase in revenue, purely organic, of 10.3%, despite an unfavorable number of days worked. Over the first 9 months of the financial year, growth was 8.9%.
The Services division (96% of turnover) posted a 10.4% increase in turnover for the quarter. Cumulatively over 9 months, growth was 9.1%.
Digitalization remains the main driver of growth across all sectors where Infotel operates, and Banking is still the top business sector with significant new contracts won during the period.
The inter-contract level is still at a very low value, at 1.6% on average over the quarter. The recruitment policy was very active this quarter with 82 new employees in September, i.e. a total workforce exceeding 2,250 people at the end of September 2017.
The Software division (4% of turnover) recorded this quarter a significant amount of IBM royalties for $1.73 million. New sales of the various proprietary or distributed software should be concluded before the end of the year.
