Outlook 2011

Good visibility combined with vectors for improved profitability

Bagnolet, September 16, 2011

“In contrast to the macroeconomic climate surrounding this new school year, Infotel experienced a particularly dynamic 1st half of 2011 and published good results,” said Bernard Connes-Lafforet, Chairman of the Infotel Group.

“The first six months of the fiscal year were punctuated by several highlights: first of all, our two activities, Software and Services, achieved new commercial successes and are well oriented.  We have created service centers for both industrial and tertiary customers, such as banking and insurance. We have also opened a new agency in Lille to complete our national presence. At the same time, we are increasingly supporting our customers abroad, in Europe and Asia, with the same concern for proximity and quality that has always made our originality. »

« This growth dynamic necessitated a reinforced recruitment plan and the use of subcontracting, which temporarily weighed on the operating margin. It stands at 8%, below our annual targets, but the momentum set in motion allows us to be optimistic about the future: the expansion of our software range, the acquisition of Insoft Software GmbH in Germany,

and the ramp-up of our subsidiary Infotel Business Consulting are vectors of improvement in profitability fruit from the second half of the year. In summary, we have good visibility to reach a turnover of €120 million over the year, combined with an improvement in profitability in the second half compared to the first six months of the year. »
